Holy hello dairy free creamy hazelnut coffee. Where have you been my whole life?!
Listen. I’ve been drinking way too much coffee. Maybe I’m just bored in this quarantine life. Or, I need help powering my kids through virtual distance learning. To be honest, it could be all the above.
But the little spurts of energetic enthusiasm that come from my body are 100% coffee fueled.
Since coffee is such a big part of life at the moment, I decided to experiment with a nutty coffee drink on my Instagram stories and after I saw how much y’all loved it too, I knew the recipe needed a permanent home on my site.
This is a blended coffee drink. Think of it as a hazelnut milk latte or something like that. Except, we’re blending everything together. Straining it all together. Chugging it… within minutes by ourselves because it’s THAT GOOD.
This hazelnut coffee latte is:
- creamy
- smooth
- made with four ingredients
- dairy free
- DELICIOUS
Ingredients for hazelnut coffee:
- coffee: I use an americano, but brew a cup of whatever your favorite coffee is and use that!
- hazelnuts: roasted, unsalted hazelnuts are the best.
- sweetener: I use agave nectar, but honey or maple syrup also works. Or, you can leave the sweetener out completely 🙂
- salt: just a pinch
How to make blended hazelnut coffee:
Place all the ingredients in your blender and blend on high until completely combined and milky looking.
After everything is blended, place your nut milk bag over a mug or a bowl and pour the coffee through the nut milk bag, squeezing out all the liquid and leaving behind all the nut pulp.
Drink the hazelnut coffee hot, or pour it over ice and drink it cold.

Can you use raw hazelnuts? If so, how long do you leave them soaking?
I made this and it turned out very delicious! No guilt while enjoying every sip because it’s only got 4 healthy ingredients!! Thanks for this!

I think you could use raw hazelnuts, maybe soak them for just an hour or so before. I’m so happy you love it!! xo
