Energy bars are the best snack to stash away for an afternoon pick-me-up or when you have a sweet tooth craving.
These bars are loaded with chocolatey flavor and have tons of nutty texture and are an any time of day treat.
Plus, we’re loading these energy bars up with superfoods like hemp hearts, cacao, and maca.
Talk to me about the superfoods!
Hemp hearts are a great source of magnesium, which can help regulate your heartbeat and are linked to the prevention of coronary heart disease. Caco is rich in fiber, healthy fats, and essential minerals like magnesium and iron. Maca packs high levels of iron and iodine to promote healthy cells and to help keep your metabolism on track. Maca cointains potassium which can help digestion and soothe muscles. It’s also rich in calcium, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.

That is a seriously creepy story with the mattress! We’ve been looking into houses in order to move in a new area of Los Angeles, and a couple of them have actually had deaths inside! Eeeeeeek!
But anyways, these cashew bars look amazing! LOVE the chocolate chips on top as well as the peanut butter in the dough!
What a delicious recipe! So healthy too with all the superfoods. Basically, I’d feel justified in eating the whole pan 🙂
Do you have the nutritional value for your recipes? They all sound wonderful.
Hi Tiffany!
Yes, I usually include the nutrition facts in the recipe card but sometimes I forget 🙈 I just updated it with the nutrition. If you come across any others without the nutrition facts, let me know! xo
Wow it looks amazing, is the Maca powder and the hemp Hearts are necessary, and if their are any ideas for substance, just hard to get in my place. Thanks
They just add some extra nutrition. You can leave the maca out. I would just sub in some extra almond flour in place of the hemp hearts to make sure they’re enough dry ingredients in the mix 🙂
Where does it say peanut butter?
