5-Min Nutty Chocolate Energy Bars

Nutty Chocolate Energy Bars are packed with healthy superfoods and can be made in 5 minutes! They’re vegan, gluten free and so delicious!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw pecans
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder powder
  • 1 tablespoon maca powder
  • 1/4 cup hemp hearts
  • 3 tablespoons agave nectar
  • 2 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tablespoons pecans, chopped for topping
  • 2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips, for topping

Instructions

  1. In a food processor combine the pecans, cacao, maca, and hemp hearts.
  2. Process until combined.
  3. Add the agave, and coconut oil.
  4. Process until things start to ball up.
  5. Use a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides.
  6. Process again until everything balls up again and is combined.
  7. Transfer the batter to a bread pan lined with parchment paper, using your spatula to press things evenly throughout the pan.
  8. Sprinkle the top with additional chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
  9. Place in the freezer for an hour, then cut into bars. I cut them into 8 square bars.
  10. Store in the fridge until ready to eat!
