Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie
Chocolate peanut butter smoothie is the perfect 5-min recipe to make any time of day! Breakfast to dessert, this will be a quick favorite!

GUYS! Chocolate. Peanut butter. Breakfast. Three words that I’m throwing together and couldn’t be happier about it. This is like thick, decadent, ice cream, magic in a glass. Have it for breakfast, have it for dessert, freeze it in some popsicle molds, you got yourself a partayyy.

I

Anyway, if there’s a morning where you just want an easy and delicious, filling and nutritious breakfast, give this a blend and enjoy! Let’s make a Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie!!

If you love chocolate everything, you have to check out my roundup of 50+ Gluten Free Dessert Recipes! You’ll love my Gluten Free Chocolate Cookies and this Mint Chocolate Smoothie!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

Only Five Simple Ingredients!

Frozen Banana. I love using frozen bananas for the base of my smoothies because it makes it super creamy and cold! The frozen bananas add the perfect thickness to the drink.

Peanut Butter. Because we want, we need, we crave that peanut butter and chocolate combo! I love using a natural peanut butter, but you can sub in whatever you have on hand.

Cocoa Powder. To make it all chocolatey and such!

Sweetener. I use agave nectar but honey or maple syrup work just as well!

Milk. Oat milk has been my favorite lately but almond milk or regular dairy milk is perfectly fine.

Hot (or cold?) Tip!

Freeze your milk in ice cube trays before blending for a super chilled and thick smoothie! I’ve seen this done beautifully with coconut milk. Give it a shot!

How to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

Place the frozen banana, peanut butter, cocoa powder, milk, and agave nectar in a blender. Add more milk if you like a more liquid-y smoothie.

Blend everything together until completely combined and smooth. Transfer to a cup and top with your favorite things! I sprinkled with cacao nibs, nuts, chopped chocolate, and maple cinnamon hemp heart toppers!
