Ok, I’m back at it with some more kid meals! Ever since I started this fun little venture into sharing more kid meals, I’ve actually enjoyed making different combos and adding more variety to our plates. Some of these are lunches, some of these are dinner, either way, I hope you find some inspo to get you out of your kid meal rut!
Monday: Kinda doing a #meatlessmonday vibe with this one. I think this was a lunch and staring from the top left we have… dried cranberries and kiwi (my kids love). I included a cutie orange because some days they are just WAY hungry and need a little extra something on their plate. Next to the cutie are some lemon squares – this is a recipe that I’m working on and is ALLLMOST perfected, so keep your eyes peeled for it. They called it lemon pie and enjoyed it! Then we have some probiotic whole milk kefir. My younger son preferred these much more than my younger son. Lastly, we have round crackers with cream cheese and jam. These crackers are one of my older son’s favorite combos, so he’s always pumped whenever they’re on his plate.
Tuesday: #tacotuesday!! This is one of those meals where I have the same items on my plate, they just look different. I had loaded nachos with grain free chips and they had it the way they like it. My older son just likes the meat and cheese on his chips so I served some avocado chunks separate. Since we looove our fruit, I finished off the plate with some strawberries and kiwi flowers!
Wednesday: This is one of those nights that I’m pushing them a bit. My younger son JUST started liking salmon and asking for some of ours, so we put some on their plate this week along with items that I KNOW they’ll like. I bought some fun curly colored pasta at the store (they just like butter on it) and also included some cheesy sautéed cauliflower and a slice of cornbread that we made together after school.
Thursday: My kids love pasta and specifically spaghetti and meatballs. So when I’m in a pinch, how easy is that to make?! The meatballs are just store-bought ones. I think the flavor is a sweet teriyaki pineapple and they LOVE them. Again, they don’t like any sauce on it, so it looks a bit bare. We also have some of those crispy pea things that people put in their salad and some sautéed garlic broccoli florets. They ate pretty much everything, although the broccoli was last to go. They had a few broccoli bites and I consider it a win 🙂
Friday: Yay! This was a fun one because I made them some kid kabobs!! These are so simple, just come Monterey jack cheese cubes, some grape tomatoes, and turkey pepperoni. I also included a blueberry muffin, some cherries (they’re in season and I couldn’t resist them at the store). My kids are pretty good and spitting out the pit in the center but you may want to slice and de-pit them depending what stage your kid is in. Also included some plantain chips and carrots. They LOVED the kabobs!!
Hope you guys find some fun kid meal inspo!! If you’re looking for some lunchbox ideas, check out this post!! Not all of them are kid-friendly, but they’re great for packing for work! Enjoy!! xo

These look like fun, and will eat them myself – my first (son, just turned 13) used to eat everything, now just pasta, carrots and anything pork-based (very unhealthy). My daughter, just 7, would try things but has a thing abut sauces – is that something all kids have? I know a friend’s son- 21- who has to have beans in a pot as nothing can youch on the plate.

Honestly, I think kids just go through phases. Reintroducing things in small portions and in different ways has been really effective for us!
