Cherry Lime Vodka Cocktails are sweet and refreshing! Made with fresh cherries and lime juice this cocktail is light, fruity, and perfect for summer!

Cherry cocktails will be your cocktail for summer! It’s a light and refreshing and only a few ingredients!

What I love about this drink is its so simple! It only takes four ingredients to make this delicious cherry cocktail and you can use fresh ingredients.

This cherry lime vodka cocktail is a sweet and refreshing drink that combines deliciously refreshing fruits. The cherry adds a sweet, fruity taste to the cocktail, while the vodka and lime juice give it a crisp and tangy flavor. The combination of these flavors creates a drink that is both sweet and sour, making it perfect for sipping on a hot summer day.

Add some cherry and lime slices to garnish for a burst of fresh flavor and a pop of color to the cocktail.

If you’re looking for more cherry recipes, you have to try this Cherry Smoothie or this Dairy Free Cherry Ice Cream. They’re super simple to make, so refreshing and delicious!

Ingredients for cherry cocktails

Pitted Cherries. You can use either fresh cherries or frozen cherries. I like to use frozen cherries that are defrosted a bit.

Lime Juice. You can use either bottled lime juice or fresh lime juice. I like using fresh lime juice, but it use whatever you have on hand.

Vodka. Because, it’s a cocktail and vodka is what makes this a cocktail 🙂

Cherry Soda. You just need a “splash” per drink. I used black cherry Zevia which is a zero calorie soda. But, if you have another favorite cherry soda, use that!

How to make these cherry cocktails

Blend. Pop the cherries, lime juice and vodka in a blender and blend on high until combined and smooth.

Strain. If you like a smoother cocktail, pour the blended drink through a strainer to get rid of any cherry pieces. Honestly, the cherry pieces aren’t that big so this step isn’t the most necessary 🙂

Pour or shake. If you like your cocktails over ice, pour the cherry mixture into a cup over ice. If you prefer it chilled, shake it with ice for about 30 seconds and pour it directly into the glass.

Top with soda. Top the cocktail with a splash of soda. “Splash” is open to interpretation so measure that out with your heart.

Enjoy! Garnish with a fresh cherry in a toothpick and enjoy!

What to eat with these cherry cocktails

I love these cherry cocktails because they’re made with fresh cherries and are so light, fruity, and fun. Drink this alongside Lemon Zucchini Burrata Pasta or this Asparagus Pasta Salad.

It would also be delicious with Chopped Kale Salad or Instant Pot Pulled Pork Tacos + Fresh Pico de Gallo.
