Apple Chai Granola
This oat free and grain free Apple Chai Granola screams autumn with delicious clusters of pecan, pumpkin seeds, and dried apple. A new fall favorite!

Right now my house smells amazing. It smells like fall. I am sitting here typing up this up with my second… no third batch of apple chai granola cooling in my oven and I cannot wait to dive right in for my first crunch.

After I first made this, I was hooked. The sweetness. The embodiment of fall in granola form. Listen, I know we’re still in August, but this year I’m ready for some autumn recipes. This year I’m not in denial and I’m ready for the cinnamon and the chai’s and the pumpkiny apple goodness.

Apple Chai Granola

There are two major things that I love about this granola aside from it being amazingly flavorful and delicious. First, it’s so customizable. Yes I think this blend of nuts and seeds is ideal, but feel free to sub in oats or walnuts, or hemp hearts, or whatever nuts or seeds you have in your pantry. You can sub them 1:1 and it should be no issue.

Aside from the customization of this, I also love the texture. It’s deliciously clustery, but not overly crunchy. It has almost like a softer, chewy texture that you may find in a chewy granola bar. I mean, it’s not super chewy, but definitely has a fun texture to it. I love having it in a bowl with some milk, but this would be amazing on top of some yogurt or chia pudding, or even these peanut butter no bake bars!

And if you’re super into making your own granola, try this delicious low carb granola! It’s the first granola recipe I ever made and I really enjoy it. This coconut almond granola is one of my faves! Or this double chocolate granola which is super indulgent and delicious!

Apple Chai Granola

So let’s make some autumn-y Apple Chai Granola!! Place the pecans, dried apples, pumpkin seeds, shredded coconut, sunflower seeds, flax meal, coconut sugar, applesauce, ghee, agave nectar, cinnamon, ginger, salt, allspice, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom.

Use a rubber spatula to fold all the ingredients together until nice and combined. Transfer the granola to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread out evenly, though it’s ok if they clump together but you want it in a pretty even layer. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

Turn off the oven and crack the door. Allow the granola to cool in the oven for about 1 hour. Transfer to a container and store at room temp until ready to eat.

How do you make dry apples?

    This recipe sounds so good.
But just not sure how to prep the dry apples.

You can dehydrate them yourself if you have the time and dehydrator, but I usually grab them from the bulk nut/ dehydrated food section of my grocery store. You could probably also find them on amazon if you’re an amazon enthusiast like me 🙂

What a beautiful recipe! Can you use coconut oil or flax oil for this recipe instead of ghee?
