It’s times like these when I try to recreate our honeymoon through cocktail form. Does that make any sense? No? Mmmk let me try again.
The last time I went on vacation was 9 years ago on my honeymoon. Ok wait, that sounds like a ridiculously long time. Sure we’ve taken little local getaways here and there but we haven’t taken a tropical beachside trip in quite some time.
But, although it was a looong time ago, the relaxing by the beach with a cocktail in hand is actually seared into my memory and feels like it was just yesterday. Note to self: schedule a vacation asap, 9 years is way too long.
So, I’m thinking I want to share some more spring and summer inspired cocktails. You know, the ones that you sip beachside or by the pool, or in your backyard with the sun beaming down on you being all like, “Yaaas girl.”
So today we’re making a Lightened Up Rosé Lemonade Spritzer. It has that beautiful dry and refreshing rosé base, the sweet lemon flavor and that bubbly spritz to top it off. It’s refreshing and fun, and yu heard it here first: the drink of summer.
If you’re looking for more light and refreshing cocktails you have to try this sparkling vodka lavender lemonade, these blackberry mint juleps, or this frozen strawberry margarita!
So let’s jump right in, you are going to to love how refreshing and easy this cocktail recipe is!
Mix together the Rose wine, vodka, lemon juice and agave in a large pitcher. Set in the fridge for at least 2 hours to chill. The flavors will meld together. When you’re ready to serve, pour about 8oz of the wine mixture into a glass and top with 4oz of seltzer or club soda. Serve!
