I remember the first time I had pulled pork. It was juicy and sweet and flavorful. It was messy and the bun got deliciously soggy. And, my mom and I spent every summer thereafter making a slow cooker pulled pork that we just couldn’t stop making.
I never looked back. I have proceeded to order a pulled pork sando whenever I see it on the menu because I immediately start salivating whenever I think abut it. Yup… there I go.
So, while I couldn’t help but love this slow cooker pulled apple bbq chicken I posted a couple weeks ago, I knew I had to make a pulled pork version because pulled pork just speaks true to my heart.

So, let’s jump into the recipe and make this Slow Cooker Apple BBQ Pork!! You’re going to love it!!
Place the pork loin, BBQ sauce, apple cider, apple cider vinegar, and apple pie spice into a slow cooker and turn to heat for 4-5 hours. After the chicken has cooked, remove it from the pot and shred.
Take the sauce and pour it into a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until it has reduced by about half. Taste the apple BBQ sauce and add salt as desired. This will vary deepening on your BBQ sauce.
Pour the sauce back over the shredded chicken and serve in sandwiches, tacos on salads or whatever you want.
