Slow Cooker BBQ Turkey Meatballs
This recipe for Slow Cooker BBQ Turkey Meatballs is an easy set it and forget it meal! It’s so juicy, flavorful, and perfect for a party appetizer!

I’ve been loving my slow cooker recently. I love prepping dinner right after I drop the kids off at school and swinging back through the kitchen at the end of the day when we’re rolling back from extracurricular activities and BAM it’s ready for us.

These Slow Cooker BBQ Turkey Meatballs are deliciously sweet and perfect to make sandwiches or lettuce wraps with! I also love them for a fun party appetizer on a plate with some toothpicks.

If you love meatballs as much as me, try these cranberry orange ones! Or these asian turkey meatballs! Or try these hidden veggie meatballs! Or if you’re here more for the slow cooker aspect of this, try these slow cooker cheddar cauli soup, or this slow cooker apple bbq pulled chicken, or this slow cooker jackfruit stew.

Slow Cooker BBQ Turkey Meatballs

So let’s jump into this recipe and make some Slow Cooker BBQ Turkey Meatballs!!

In a large bowl, mix together the chopped onion, turkey, dried cranberries, egg, almond flour, shredded cheddar, minced garlic, and salt. Place the BBQ sauce, apple cider, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, and salt in your slow cooker.

Roll the turkey meatballs and place them into the slow cooker. Turn on low and cook for 4 – 6 hours. After the meatballs are cooked through, you can remove it from the pot and pour the sauce into the a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until the sauce has reduced by about half.

Taste the sauce and add salt to taste. Place the meatballs back into the sauce and serve in sandwiches, lettuce wraps, or as is!
