Jalapeño-Kiwi-Cucumber Kombucha Jello Shots
Get the party started with these Jalapeño-Kiwi-Cucumber Kombucha Jello Shots!! As if you needed another reason, these jello shots are made with kombucha so they’re loaded with probiotics and great for your gut! #sponsored

You know what’s really fun? Jello shots. There, I said it. Don’t pretend like you’re too adult for jello shots and be all like, “omg I haven’t taken a jello shot since college.”

Jalapeño-Kiwi-Cucumber Kombucha Jello Shots

Jello shots, guys. Summer is upon us, and I started thinking about backyard bbqs, friendly potlucks, and what I really want people to greet me with when I walk into the party. Oh, hello fun cocktail, we meet again. To me, the one thing that universally brings the smiles and gets the party going is a cute signature cocktail that everyone can rally around.

So, I thought about making a CLASSY jello shot that is not only fun, but you can also say things like, “oh it’s actually really awesome for your gut because it’s loaded with probiotics” when that one party pooper gets all judgey about the jello shots. You know that person.

Jalapeño-Kiwi-Cucumber Kombucha Jello Shots

Probiotics you say? YES!! Enter: Health-Ade kombucha!! If you haven’t tried kombucha yet, get on the train!! Even my kids grab it from me whenever I take a bottle out of the fridge. Health-Ade has a ton of flavors, one of my favorite is the Maca–Berry. They also have a Blood Orange-Carrot-Ginger flavor and a Pomegranate flavor that I always grab for.

Today I’m making a recipe with their new flavor: Jalapeño-Kiwi-Cucumber. It’s refreshing but has a nice kick to it. Make these Jalapeño–Kiwi–Cucumber jello shots for your next party and win friends immediately.

Add the cucumber and water to a blender and blend until completely combined. Strain the cucumber juice into a small pot.

Jalapeño-Kiwi-Cucumber Kombucha Jello Shots

Place the pot over medium heat and whisk in the agave nectar and gelatin until completely dissolved, then remove from heat. Whisk in the vodka and kombucha.

Place the shot glasses on a baking sheet or cutting board so you can easily transfer to the fridge to chill. Divide the liquid among 6 shot glasses.

Place one jalapeno slice in each glass and transfer to the fridge to chill for a 2+ hours. Garnish with some mint leaves and enjoy!

Welp, amazing: I’ve found a flavour of kombucha I would actually consider making (much as I like probiotics, tea, and fizzy things, I’m not a fan of sugar, which we over-use), and a recipe that sweetens the deal. On my to-make list.
