Hi! My name is Lindsay 👋🏼
Welcome to this little nook of the recipe world where I share well-tested gluten free recipes with a heavy emphasis on the sweet stuff, including ideas for no-bake desserts, gluten-free cakes and cupcakes, and more!
I’m the voice, author and creator behind The Toasted Pine Nut. I launched my site in 2014 to share the recipes I was making that fit my family’s dietary needs but also were delicious for everyone. What started as a fun hobby I shared during my kids’ naptime 10ish years ago has grown into my full time gig!
Over the years recipes reach hundreds of thousand readers each month and have been featured as a Food Network magazine tastemaker, by The Kitchn, Shape, Food52, and more! Check out a few of my tv cooking segments on KATU 2 ABC, KTLA, and the Hallmark Channel.
I’ve also written two cookbooks! Something Sweet is my latest cookbook featuring 110+ gluten free desserts and is available for pre-order now! And, if you’re craving some veggies to balance out all the sweets, my debut cookbook Cauliflower Power was published January 2020 and is a reader favorite!
I live in south Jersey with my family and our new puppy, Roxie! When I’m in in the kitchen, you can find me at the Jersey shore, swimming in the bay with my kids or at the local pottery studio trying to make the perfect mug.
I love desserts!
My site will quickly become your go-to place for gluten free desserts, gooey treats, and all things chocolate! These Chocolate Quinoa Crisps and Gooey Chocolate Mug Cake are a great place to start! But, you’ll also find some healthier meals and easy recipes like my Kale Avocado Salad and these Oven Baked Muffin Tin Eggs.
My goal is to inspire you with gluten free recipes that are so delicious, everyone at the table is asking for seconds.
One of my favorite parts of posting recipes is seeing you create them in your own kitchens! It makes my day to see your creations. Tag me on Instagram @thetoastedpinenut and leave a review on my site, under the recipe!
Once you’re here, you’re family! I’ll be offended if you don’t stop by to say hi. Come find me on…
