You guys. How was your weekend? I’m so excited because I feel like this blog is finally coming together and I just have a few more twerks, er, I mean tweaks here and there and I can officially launch it! I’ve been spending every spare second I have trying to finalize things and figuring out what I want my first few recipes to be. Call me a nerd, I don’t care. I’m super excited for this blog.
Besides that, we’re just getting things together for the holidays! This year we had a little elf come visit us and we named him Chip. For some reason I could only think of chipmunk names and once Dale and Theodore didn’t fly, I decided Chip it is. My two year old has mixed feelings about him… I’d like yo say he’s working like a charm but maybe two was too early to introduce Chip. Maybe he’ll have more pull next year.
Anyway, I don’t know about you, but sometimes I just need a little moment to myself. I usually like to enjoy the silence when I get it and recharge with a little treat. Moms know what I’m talking about… Well here’s an easy recipe for exactly those moments.
Get your little booty into the kitchen and make yourself this shake! You deserve it. I mean really. It tastes EXACTLY like a milkshake. Mmmm. Milkshake. Let me take a moment to just close my eyes and swoooon. Ok ok moment’s over.
NOW! On to this Vanilla Almond Cinnamon “Milk” Shake:
Place all the ingredients in a jar with a lid.
Put the lid on and shake it up baby now, shake it up baby. Twist and shout. Twist and shout. Come on, come on, come, come on baby now…Oh, oops, I mean. Shake it up. I like to really shake it because the more bubbles and shaken, the more it reminds me of a milkshake.
Welp, then you just pop a straw in, or keep the lid on and take it to go.
