Silky Smooth Instant Pot Hot Chocolate (in 5-Minutes!)

Instant pot hot chocolate is intensely rich and silky smooth! Perfect for a group, this hands-off recipe can be made in just 5 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup agave nectar, honey, maple syrup or coconut sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 8 oz chopped chocolate: milk, semisweet or dark work!
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Optional toppings: marshmallows, candy canes, whipped cream, etc.

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to the instant pot.

  2. With the lid open, set the instant pot to “sauté” and cook while stirring until the chocolate is melted and the entire mixture is heated through, usually the mixture is just starting to simmer!
