Ingredients
- 6 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup agave nectar, honey, maple syrup or coconut sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 8 oz chopped chocolate: milk, semisweet or dark work!
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Optional toppings: marshmallows, candy canes, whipped cream, etc.
- Add all of the ingredients to the instant pot.

- With the lid open, set the instant pot to “sauté” and cook while stirring until the chocolate is melted and the entire mixture is heated through, usually the mixture is just starting to simmer!

- Cancel the sauté function and set to “keep warm” until ready to serve! Ladle into mugs and top with desired toppings.
