Rich & Creamy Chocolate Vegan Ganache

Vegan Ganache is so rich and creamy! Stir in some chopped pecans or your favorite nut for a fun texture and nutty flavor.

  • 4 tablespoons vegan butter
  • 1 1/4 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 1 can (13 oz.) coconut cream
  • 3 tablespoons agave nectar (honey, maple syrup or coconut nectar works too)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans


  1. Place your vegan butter and chocolate chips in a large bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the coconut cream, agave nectar, and vanilla.
  3. Bring to a simmer, stirring frequently for everything to be evenly combined.
  4. Remove from the heat and pour into the bowl with the butter and chips.
  5. Allow the contents to sit in the bowl for a few minutes and then whisk it until completely silky smooth and combined.
  6. Fold the chopped pecans into the chocolate mixture.
  7. Pour the chocolate filling into individual ramekins or cups and place in the fridge overnight for the mixture to firm up into ganache texture.
