Today I’m sharing Three Natural + Non Toxic Homemade DIY Cleaners that you can easily incorporate into your daily life! They’re so simple to make and include ingredients you probably already have in your pantry!
Making my own cleaners is something that’s always been on my radar. When we moved out west I made the switch to store-bought natural cleaning products, which have been great, but I’ve been waiting for them to be used all up so I can try my hand at making my own.
Today I’m sharing three fun and EASY ways to make homemade cleaners. The best part? They’re super kid friendly. My kids loved mixing everything together and using the spray bottles. Read: they cleaned the house.
YES. They spent about an hour, walking around the house spraying stuff and then wiping it down with a rag. Was it the best clean? No. Were there tons of streaks? Yes. Did it give them a fun activity to do with minimal whining? HECK YES.
Triple win, you guys. Bonus cleaning? Check! Nontoxic cleaners your kids can spray around aimlessly? Check! Unexpected kid activity they love? Check!
First up! The ALL-PURPOSE CLEANER!! This is one of those cleaners that you can use to spray down the table, counter, basically any surface and its great. I just sprayed, used a cloth napkin or rag and bam. Done. Grab the easy recipe below, you probably already have all the ingredients in your pantry!

Can I use white vinegar instead of white wine vinegar? And is it possible to store these concoctions so that I don’t have to make them each time I need to clean? I imagine a paste would dry out, but I would prefer not to take out measuring cups every time I want to clean.
★★★★
Yes white vinegar is fine. The paste dries out but the other two store nicely in a spray bottle under your sink. Just give them a quick shake before you spray!
