These are my top three favorite oils that I always keep in my pantry! I’m sharing what I like about them, any associated health benefits, and why they are the 3 oils you need in your kitchen!

No, these aren’t shots lined up for your power hour. These, my friends are oils. Cooking, sautéing, roasting, dressing oils. They are the oils I use every single day. The oils I always keep in my pantry no matter what. And today, I’m sharing with you!

3 oils you need in your kitchen

First up is olive oil! I know I know, it’s a classic. I always keep a bottle of extra virgin olive oil in my pantry. Although I’ve moved to using the next two oils below for most of my cooking and sautéing, I love having a good quality extra virgin olive oil in for making dressings and sauces! I also use it for roasting or sautéing veggies in a pan if I’m out of avocado oil. 

Health benefits of olive oil? Olive oil has been showed to help decrease blood pressure, lower cholesterol, protect from mental illness, reduce the risk of Type 2 Diabetes, and can help prevent osteoporosis to name a few. 

This is the olive oil I ALWAYS buy to have in my pantry. I also really love having a spray olive oil for easy application!

The second oil that has been MY FAVORITE to cook with is avocado oil! Avocado oil has a high smoke point so it’s great for sautéing and brushing veggies for roasting. It has a super mild taste, so it’s great for adding to sauces, dips, or dressings!

Here are some of the awesome health benefits of avocado oil: it’s super nutrient dense, full of healthy fats and essential fatty acids. Avocado oil has been shown to reduce blood pressure, relieve symptoms of arthritis, improve skin problems, improve heart health and low cholesterol, and boosts nutrient absorption. Definitely google it for more info, I’m obsessed with it!

I alternate between two avocado oil brands THIS ONE and THIS ONE. I also love getting the spray which can be really great for grilling among the usual cooking things 🙂

3 oils you need in your pantry

FINALLY! The last oil that is always always in my pantry is coconut oil! I typically buy refined coconut oil because it doesn’t have a coconutty taste and is more versatile! Aside from cooking and baking, you can use coconut oil outside the kitchen in things like homemade body scrub or a hydrating hair mask!

Health benefits of coconut oil include: reducing inflammation and arthritis, boost your immune system, improved energy, endurance, and brain function to name a few! Check out more health benefits of coconut oil here!!

Grab yourself some refined coconut oil here! Typically coconut oil hardens when its in a colder environment. So, I microwave it to warm it up and measure it out. They also sell liquid coconut oil which stays liquid in any environment. I’m also psyched about the spray too!
