The other day Jaryd made the most amazing scallops. I don’t know what the deal is, but people usually get all fussy about scallops. Jaryd makes them look sooo easy.
I really like spaghetti squash. I like how simple they are to roast. I like how light and satisfying the spaghetti strands are and how they absorb all the saucy flavors.
My family has a tomato obsession. We pop them like treats all hours of the day, but the latest batch we got was next level amazing. I had to hide a stash on the top of my fridge so they wouldn’t all get eaten before I could make something fun out of them!
When the kids were little(r), I was pretty desperate for them to eat some veggies. Ok maybe not “them,” one “them” in particular. But, I won’t name names. I used to cut carrots into little rounds, add some sugary sweetness, some cinnamon, and call them “carrot cookies.”
Riddle me this. Why are there no “healthy” restaurants that have a fun play area for kids? Why are the only restaurants that have designated kid areas fast food joints? I have a confession…
