I’m really big on coating things with coconut. Remember dem coconut crusted green beans?! Bahh I’m craving those harddd! Well, I decided to throw it old school and make those coconut crusted shrimpies I remember from my childhood.
I threw it out there asking you guys to give me some recipe suggestions you NEEDED WANTED HAD TO HAVE on the blog. Well, my friends. I did it. You wanted fish tacos and I made some shrimp. Mayybe fish tacos will come down the line, but for real, I was craving some shrimp, so here you go.
My landlord has decided to start showing our house. It’s fine because we’re moving at the end of July, so it’s the natural next step. Well, he told us there would be a showing and so I tided up. I made my bed, I put away the clothes, scrubbed a toilet or two. You know, the basics so the showee doesn’t think I’m a total slob.
This past weekend Jaryd and I went out to dinner which was amazzzzing. Even though it was unbearably cold out, we walked around to different shops, ate dinner, and had such a fun night. We normally do a weekly date night at home (aka make yummy dinner and drink the wine), but it’s fun every now and then to have someone else make the yummy dinner and serve the wine 😛

Remember at the end of my post two posts back where I asked what else we can put that Thai pesto on? Well, this. This is the brainchild of my dear sweet husband and damn was it on point. He went to great lengths to ensure his idea came to fruition, from shelling and deveining the shrimp, to running to the food store (literally running) to get all the ingredients, to providing moral support during preparation. He’s pretty hunky too.
