It’s 6 something in the morning and I’m waiting on my coffee. Apologies for the words that come out of my mouth before I’m caffeinated. People ask me when I blog, or when I find time for this blogging thing.
This weekend was so beautiful! We had the little man’s third birthday party and he loved every second. It was a fun chaos with all his little buddies running around. And Sunday was so gorgeous! We got the kids down for a nap and Jaryd and I went out on the back deck to have the most amazing salad (recipe coming soon) and some beers. It was kind of perfect and exactly what we needed to recharge.
Fact: candy will be all over the place this weekend. It’s a slippery slope for me. One chocolate Reese’s egg leads to another until I lose count. Normally I would seize the holiday excuse to forgo meals so I could spend the whole day eating candy. This year, I’m trying to be better and I’m thinking these peanutty fat bombs will be the key.
I love to have “breakfast balls” on hand for my kid when I’m in a rush and/or the morning caffeine hasn’t kicked in yet. I’m all about those easy, keep in the fridge recipes that you can just grab and go.
