Every Saturday night Jaryd and I have date night, which basically means we have dinner just the two of us once the kids go to bed, and have a drink (or two). Well, one day I was sitting around, lounging in the post-bedtime silence and Jaryd walks up and hands me a frozen strawberry margarita.

My husband is the falafel king. Ok, maybe there are one or a billion restaurants that may dispute that but there was a period in our marriage when we were eating falafel every other night as Jaryd perfected his craft. We’re kinda obsessed with falafel.
A couple weeks ago we impulsively got onion rings at a restaurant. I can say pretty confidently that in our entire relationship we have NEVER ordered onion rings. Maybe once in college we got a bloomin’ onion at Outback with some friends. Generally it’s not one of our go to eats.
