This past weekend we went out to a restaurant and ordered some cocktails. It was so nice to sit at a restaurant with some friends, order good food, and enjoyyy the company of adults sans kids. It’s been too long. Siiiiip.
I remember the first time I saw charcoal lemonade. It freaked me out. I saw it in a facebook ad and immediately clicked on it. Damn you, facebook ads, why you know me so well 😭
Let’s be real. I’ve never had a pumpkin spice latte. I’ve never had the craving. The inclination. The salivating tastebuds silently screaming sppiiiiice. Pumpkiiiin spiiiiiice. It just hasn’t happened.
Every Saturday night Jaryd and I have date night, which basically means we have dinner just the two of us once the kids go to bed, and have a drink (or two). Well, one day I was sitting around, lounging in the post-bedtime silence and Jaryd walks up and hands me a frozen strawberry margarita.
Thanksgiving is next up in the holiday lineup y’all and that means family gatherings are about to go down. I remember being in college and my eyes suddenly opened up to the fact that family gatherings and alcoholic beverages go hand in hand. And, in my opinion, make them way more fun 😉
