When I think of summer food and treats, one of the first things that pops into my head are tomatoes. Growing up in south Jersey, summer was the signal that the most delicious tomatoes are about to descend upon us.
I remember buying something on Amazon one day and a product popped up they thought I might like (aw how thoughtful are they?). They were those silicon egg rings to make your sunny side up eggs into a perfect circle. I obviously bought them. Would I do it again?
What do you look forward most to when you have a holiday brunch? It may be the quiche, the ability to eat both breakfast AND lunch on one plate, gathering around with family (obviously). Aside from all the wonderful things to brunch on, I think every good brunch needs to be rounded out with a fun dessert.
Yesterday was one of those days that I put on a huge college sweatshirt, and looked like a hot mess all day. You know what I’m talking about! If I was in my pre-parenthood life I would have stayed in bed all day and binge watched trashy shows. Instead I did probably the exact opposite of that, just with super oversized comfy clothes on. I felt fine. I was in good spirits. Just the whole getting dressed like an adult thang was not happening. Turns out, my kids could care less what I look like.
Happy Weekend Y’all!! So I made this frittata for lunch today. I had other recipes that I was planning on sharing with you this weekend, but this frittata hopped the line! Ahh!! What a budger!
If you’re planning on making an omelet, don’t. Upgrade to a frittata people!! Why would you make an omelet when you could make a frittata? It has a fun name, you jam pack it with delicious goodies, and it takes zero extra skill (though maybe just a wee bit more effort) than an omelet. It’s like… It’s like taking the bus when a limo (well, maybe a classy town car) is one block away. Just have some patience and treat yourself to the perfection that is this frittata.
