So the craziest thing happened to me. Not craziest, just unexpected/fun/omg kinda thing. On Monday I got an email halfway through the day. It was an invite to a food tasting with Gwyneth Paltrow that night. Um, I HAD to go.
This past weekend we went to a vegan food festival. I like vegan food and adopt some vegan yumminess into my everyday life. I ate vegan tacos and HOLY MOLY. My mind was blown. Who knew “chicken” could be so delicious?!
Let’s be real here. I get granola FOMO sometimes. For what seems like a few years now, I’ve oogled at granola parfaits and granola bars and always got bummed out that there weren’t any brands that suited our dietary needs.

So the other day Jaryd and I had the opportunity to go have lunch by ourselves. Like a mini midday date. We decided on a place and were psyched to try something new. As we drove by the restaurant, it was PACKED. I mean, line out the door, cramped, scour for seating kind of packed. I had an unexpected urge of repulsion.
