Let’s be real here. I get granola FOMO sometimes. For what seems like a few years now, I’ve oogled at granola parfaits and granola bars and always got bummed out that there weren’t any brands that suited our dietary needs.
I gotta be real. As much as I love #toasttuesday, I struggle with the toast part. I’ve gotten creative with sweet potato toast, apple toasts, low carb wraps, store bought low carb breads, but always just chalked it to a morning that I’d indulge a bit. But I kept experimenting with homemade versions until I came up with this bad boy…
So the other day Jaryd and I had the opportunity to go have lunch by ourselves. Like a mini midday date. We decided on a place and were psyched to try something new. As we drove by the restaurant, it was PACKED. I mean, line out the door, cramped, scour for seating kind of packed. I had an unexpected urge of repulsion.
I get my groceries delivered, it’s true. There is no shame in my game. I can’t handle the food store. Yes I do small trips here and there when I only need to pick up a few items. I like the ease of ordering online and having them delivered to my doorstep before I even get my morning coffee. Yes, I am aware how ridiculous that is.
You guys. I’m on a mission. I really want to find a low carb bread that is totally sandwich-able. Something I can make avo toast, and french toast, and basically ALLLL the toasts with, you know? I’ve found some store-bought low carb breads here and there, BUT I’m a food blogger and I need to make my own, you know?
