Last Friday I did my Instagram live and ended up adapting these blueberry breakfast cookies. I loaded them up with nuts and seeds, and mini chocolate chips and I couldn’t be more obsessed with how they turned out.
With the new year here, I think a handful of you may possibly be rethinking your meals and maybe looking for healthier snacks or morning routines. I went through a phase where, every morning, I would make a smoothie for me and my son to share.
OMG the craziest thing happened! Raccoons!! Last night after we put the kids down, I went out to the garage, which means I have to walk through my backyard. As I open the door I see little beady eyes staring at me. Crouched down. And staring. At me.
Jaryd got home from work early today. I said, “Hey will you help me out and schedule dentist appointments for the whole family?” Um, I’ll never do that again. He took probably 30 minutes discussing potential time slots with the receptionist only to suddenly be reminded of why that that date wouldn’t work, thus needing to start over again. Who knew he was so bad at making appointments?
I’m pretty excited about pumpkin season y’all. I kind of feel ridiculous about it, actually. But! It’s September 1st and I am ready to give you some fall-inspired dishes. I’ve got plannns, you know? Pumpkiny plans. Nevermind that it’s so hot and sweaty here that I’m running out this afternoon to buy some fans… that’s besides the point.
