Do you ever walk down an aisle in the grocery store, something catches your eye, you pluck it off the shelves and that’s it. End of story, something new enters your life and you wonder how you never tried it before? That’s me and canned salmon. What? Canned salmon? Is this the 90’s?
I lost my voice. This is going on day two without a voice and it’s proving to be extremely difficult to parent without one. Like how do you respond to a toddler asking you a question from the next room? He keeps repeating it louder and louder waiting for a response. Then I run to the room and try to answer it using hand gestures or whispering as loudly as possible. Even though whispering is pretty painful in itself.
Ain’t nobody dope as me I’m dressed so fresh, so fresh and so GREEN GREEN! Do you remember the first time you ate kale? I do! It was only a couple years ago when I found this recipe. I’m telling you, we loved this recipe so much we made it at least twice a week. We’d walk to our neighborhood corner store, buy the most perfectly ripe, overpriced avocados, and chop that kale like no one’s business.
So I’ve been in the blogging game for about 3 months now. I know, it seems like it’s been forever. I love it. I love sharing my experiences and recipes with people that actually make and enjoy them! But, I have noticed a few pitfalls of food blogging. First, your kitchen always looks like a bomb went off and clean up stinks. Second, there are some epic fails.
So lately I’ve been trying to make quick and easy (and delicious, obviously) lunches. I want to have healthy meals that are do-able even on the craziest day. This is as easy as it gets! This pesto is delicious and you can really put it on a ton of different things besides veggies noodles.
