It’s pie season y’all!! I’m so excited for all the obligatory pies for our Thanksgiving celebrations that I’m devoting this entire week to pies. It’s PIE WEEK, PEOPLE!!
I’m super uber lethargic today. I perked up a bit once I had my afternoon latte and went live on Instagram. Buut, as soon as I came down off that caffeine high, I started getting achy and tired and sore. Man, I’m so whiny.
I made this delicata squash crusted with parm a few weeks ago and I couldn’t get it out of my mind. Lately I’ve been on a serious snack kick. I’ve been wanting all the crunchy salty, garlicky things.
‘Tis the season for really delicious cookies, y’all. Whether it’s family gatherings for Thanksgiving, putting a plate out for a certain red-suited jolly fellow, or making a spooky chocolatey treat for Halloween, cookies are on the horizon, my friends.
I baked. I baked the most deliciously fluffy pumpkin cookies with a fun creamy topping and I need you to know about it. As Thanksgiving approaches I find myself not only gearing up for the big meal…
Pumpkin is in the air. Ok, truth be told, there’s been a heat wave here and I’ve been not feeling the fall vibes as much as I thought.
Oook want to know a secret? Well, it’s not a secret. It’s something that I used to do… and it involves a nightly habit of one minute chocolate microwave mug cake.
When the kids – my babies! Bah they used to be itty bitty babies!! When they were first starting on solids I was allll about making my own baby food. I liked how was it was to whip up and store in the freezer. I think that was my first introduction to sweet potato puree.
I remember seeing a version of this last Halloween and I filed it in the back of my brain to make my own version this year. I LOVE how easy and fun it is!!
Does it really get better than mac ‘n cheese? My kids love it. I love it. It’s an easy meal guaranteed to be a family favorite.
